Man, I super loved this one. So much solid info here. Really interesting to hear some of the inner workings of being on big sets from a still photographer’s perspective. I am a tour photographer for a southern rock band… and it was reassuring to hear that the approach is very similar as far as being cool and respectful with everyone because all jobs there are equal. The self-introductions resonated with me as well… especially with some of the bigger names. I think a little bit of rapport goes a long way in those situations.
Excited to get ahold of that Mary Ellen Mark book! It wasn’t on my radar before.
